Summer is for Boom Cards

I LOVE summer! Everything about it makes me happy – long days, warm weather, and lots of trips to local parks and pools with my kids. I cherish this time of year.

My kids love summer too and would gladly stay away from all things ”school” all summer, if given the option. As a mom and teacher, I feel it is important to keep them engaged in learning all year long - even in the summer - at least a little bit.

Enter Boom Cards. My kids love using Boom Cards and would likely spend an entire year learning from them if they had the opportunity. In the summer when it’s hard to get them to complete worksheets, they will gladly pick up a tablet, open the Boom app, and complete the decks I have assigned them.

If you’ve never used Boom Cards, they are digital task cards that are hosted on the Boom Learning website. You can access the platform from their website or app and ”play” your way through a large selection of decks.
